#86 “How Intercession Fits into the Plan of Redemption
Silence is praise to you,
Zion-dwelling God,
And also obedience.
You hear the prayer in it all
(Ps. 65:1- 2)
The Message (MSG)

Once God had completed His work creating this earth realm He then gave the rulership and authority to govern this world into the control of mankind, (Adam and Eve) who were made in God’s own likeness and image. They were suppose to rule over this world as a viceroy (one who govern over a colony, country, or province who acts for and rules in the name of his sovereign or government) under God. God’s original plan was for Adam to do nothing except with Him and through Him, they were to act as one.  Then God would have liberty to work through Adam to accomplish His will in the earth. God intended for Adam to be the sole owner, the master, the only ruler of this earth. However sin entered into the picture, and drastically altered God’s plans man and earth. Because God had given all power and authority to Adam's, when he fail into sin it not only brought he and his wife a curse but the whole world all of creation as well.  The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight of the sons of God coming into their own. The world of creation cannot as yet see reality, not because it chooses to be blind, but because in God’s purpose it has been so limited—yet it has been given hope." (Romans 8:18-21)

Therefore God had to devise a plan to correct what man had done. Then God came up with a “Plan of Redemption”, His objective was to re-establish man’s place of authority from which they had fallen. God knew he needed to choose servant’s who, through their strong intercession, and relationship with Him would encounter no difficulty receiving what they asked God for, because it would be given to them. Then Christ (the word) became flesh and dwelled among man, because he was both earthly man, and divinely man, He would be able to intercede for mankind. Once he had completed His assignment here on earth He then once again gave or imparted to man the right of intercession. Now we too as His disciples: acting in His authority; could just as He did, receive whatever we need for heaven when we needed it. In His farewell to His disciples in John 15:17 He gave them a sevenfold promise that their prayers would be answered.

Since the beginning of creation God has intensely longed to bless mankind. However His gracious has longs since been dependent on the limitations set forth by His dependence on man’s intercession reaching heaven from earth. “If my people which are called by my name would humble themselves and pray…” What God truly wants and longs to see is the spirit of intercession ascending to heaven as the utmost expression of mankind’s eagerness to not just receive but to become completely yielded to His work and invincible power.

Sooner or later we as Christians will have to realize that we have been given true nobility through Christ. This nobility gives us power with God and freedom to claim with great expectation that Father God will answer our prayers. This is why it is so vital the we see the importance of intercession regarding God’s Kingdom and this earthly realm; then we can embrace our true responsibility to pray.

As each individual child of God takes their rightful position and begin to operate in his true authority God will no longer have to wait to move as He chooses here on earth. “Then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  Then we will see the fulfillment of that great petition "as in heaven, so let it be on earth” when intercessors the world over rise their voices each day and every night asking that God’s power of heaven poured into every heart of mankind. Oh Lord God, burn into every believer’s heart this single thought: Intercession according to Your will is an omnipotent power and most definitely effectual!
My Prayer: Father as we merge our will to Your and join in union with Heavens divine plan and purpose for redemption make us one. Transform our hearts, minds and soul to Your will and desires. Remove every selfish desire and tendency to follow after our own plans.  As the book of proverbs says, “Many are the plans of a man’s heart, but it is the plans of the Lord that will prevail.”  Father let your will be done, in us even as it is in heaven in Jesus Name we pray Amen!!!

Have A Bless Day…Go in God’s Peace!
